In 2016 I experienced a serious depression that almost consumed all the light in my life. And even though it was the most painful chapter in my life, it was also a very enlightening period of time.
In the process of getting out of the dark hole I was in, I invested a lot of time in understanding myself and realized I had spent my whole life learning skills, achieving degrees, reading books, but never paused to learn about the most important subject: ME.
That's when I started paying real attention to my emotions and my mind, and with the curious mindset of the journalist in me, I looked around and noticed that it was not only me. I clearly saw that we have created a society that has no room for pausing, much less to look inside.
We live in a world that’s constantly looking for happiness outside, rather than inside. We are constantly looking at others, at our social media, looking for the next good thing, the next good job, the next good partner, the next good news. And we forget that we are our own best news, and that all we need to do is to look more inside and invest more time growing as humans.
That’s why I have created “The Good News Is You”. To investigate and share info and stories that will help us live a happier life and will inspire us to create a better world.
